2. Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla's 10th movie together. It also remains the last time they worked together, as of 2017.
3. The name of the child "Banku" is picked from an incomplete script "Banku Babur Bandhu (Mr. Banku's Friend)" written by Satyajit Ray. His script portrayed an alien on screen as a friendly and playful being.
4. Directional debut of 'Vivek Sharma'.
'5. Vivek Sharma' approached Shah Rukh Khan initially who was keen on producing the film too, when the director informed him that BR Chopra will be producing it Shah Rukh Khan gladly signed on to be part of the script due to his association with Vivek Sharma.
6. Interestingly, B.R. Chopra wanted to make a film called Ek Aur Masiha with Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Juhi Chawla in the late '90s but the film was never made. However, the whole cast eventually signed for this film.

12'.Vivek Sharma' narrated the script to Amitabh Bachchan which took him over 2 hours, and there was no reaction from Bachchan, who said "it was a novel idea". Four days later 'Ravi Chopra' informed Sharma that Amitabh was keen on the project on the same day of narration.
13. In Agneepath 1990 when Amitabh Bachchan escapes from the hospital to kill Avtar Gill in jail the wall behind him mentions Bhootnath. Amitabh Bachchan bought this to notice on his Facebook page during 12 years of Bhootnath.
