Tehri is home to SPTL, a notorious electricity company that overcharges the bills. Tripathi suffers the brunt of it, having to pay ₹150,000, which grows to ₹5.4 million. Nauti and Tripathi approach S. K for help, but S. K refuses and insults them. Distraught, Tripathi kills himself, which shocks everyone. S. K has a change of heart and decides to fight against the privatised electricity company, with Gulnaar as his opponent.
On the last day of hearing, Tripathi makes an appearance, clarifying his suicide attempt and speaks about the inflated bills. The court charges the company to pay reparations to all business owners on whom this was overburdened and revokes SPTL’s license. Tripathi serves jail time for six months for trying to deceive his insurance company. S. K is shown to be dating Gulnaar after the case.

1. Film is set up in the small city of Tehri in Uttarakhand.
2. Vipul K Rawal writer of the film had filed a case against the director and other writers. As he was denied credits for the film. Later the matter was solved and he was credited along with Sidhartha Singh and Garima Wahal.
3. Katrina Kaif opted out due to date issues and was replaced by Shraddha Kapoor. Illena Dcruz and Sonakshi Sinha were also considered for the role.

As Bushan Kumar had taken the film from Prerna Arora owner of KriArj Entertainment.

Since the film is set in Uttarakhand, the characters speak Garhwali, which is the local dialect of the state. To keep the essence of the story intact, the film has majorly been shot in the city of Tehri in Uttarakhand. 10This is the second time Divyendu Sharma has worked with director Shree Narayan Singh.
11. For the role of Lalita Nautiyal a.k.a. Nauti, actresses Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha, and Ileana D'Cruz were rumored to be considered, until it was confirmed that Shraddha was finalized.
12. The shooting of the film got stalled for a while due to the non-payment of dues by KriArj Entertainment.
13. The film's original and first writer Vipul K Rawal had filed a case against the director and other writers for trying to deny him his rightful credit for the story, screenplay, and dialogues of the film, as the matter was settled and the credit was given.
