Aarii is an upcoming Bengali drama directed by Jiit Chakraborty, set to release on April 25, 2025. The film marks the return of Moushumi Chatterjee to Bengali cinema after a 12-year hiatus. She stars alongside Yash Daasguptaa and Nusrat Jahan. The story centers around Jaya Sen (Moushumi Chatterjee), whose life falls apart after her husband's death, leaving her battling illness and a deteriorating mind. Her son, Joy (Yash Daasguptaa), sacrifices his dreams to care for her. Their world takes a hopeful turn when Aditi (Nusrat Jahan), a city writer, enters their lives. However, their peace is threatened by the sinister Trilok Halder, whose dark ambitions aim to destroy their happiness once again.
