Vaseegaran has a new android humanoid assistant named Nila, whose activation causes mayhem by making mobile phones of the city fly. Vaseegaran proposes to activate Chitti, but Dhinendra Bohra opposes it. The assembled phones take shape as a bird and kill phone retail store owner Jayanth Kumar, telecom company owner Manoj Lula, and Telecom Minister Vaira Moorthy. Vaseegaran activates Chitti after a nod from the Home Minister, who opposes this mobile swarm and destroys it. A tired Chitti retires to a space station that repels the bird.
Chitti tells Vaseegaran that the bird is negatively charged due to the mobile phone aura and the antennas are positively charged. The space station drains the bird and captures it, and the swarm takes shape as deceased ornithologist Pakshi Rajan, whose backstory is revealed that Pakshi opposed the use of modern mobile phones that were causing damage to birds and their deaths. His protests are met with mockery that drives the bird deaths percentage up, causing Pakshi to kill himself at a cell tower. Reanimated Paksi absorbs the anger and sorrow of the dead and avenging birds to take revenge, despite Chitti advising Pakshi not to.
Chitti contains Pakshi, and tells the science council to prepare a military of robots to defeat Pakshi. But Pakshi possesses Vaseegaran, who unleashes his anger by trapping people using centralized mobile networks and radiation. Chitti attempts his best, but drains of battery and Pakshi is about to take revenge when the smaller robots appear, called Kutti 3.0 that Nila sets loose. They destroy Pakshi and his drones, and restore peace. Vaseegaran recovers and advises to ensure the safety of everybody.
In the end credits, Vaseegaran’s phone flies out again when Sana asks if phones might fly. The flying phone says: "I am your grandson".
