This diamond encrusted Samsung Gear S2 will cost you ‘only’ $15,000

The Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch by de Grisogono will cost $15,000 (approx. 9,95,400) according to a report by German website, All About Samsung. The limited edition variant of the watch is made using gold, and diamonds, while the strap is made using black Galuchat leather, with blackened steel triple folding clasp. The Samsung Gear S2 by de Grisogono will be available by this summer through Samsung and de Grisogono’s retail channels.

Underneath though, the device is still the same as the standard Gear S2 smartwatch. The device has a 1.2-inch circular Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels. The smartwatch runs Tizen OS and is equipped with a 250mAh battery. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate sensor, barometer, and ambient light sensor. The standard Gear S2 was launched in India in January this year at a price of Rs. 24,300, while the Classic variant was launched at Rs. 25,800.
