Samsung Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit e fitness trackers launched in India

Samsung has launched three new fitness wearables in India, namely the Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit e. All three devices offer 5ATM water resistance and are MIL-STD 810G certified.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active features a round watch face with a 1.1-inch AMOLED display and a resolution of 360 x 360. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.15GHz Exynos 9110 Dual core processor and runs Tizen-based Wearable OS 4.0. In terms of memory, it offers 768MB RAM and 4GB of onboard storage.

The Galaxy Watch Active can auto-detect select activities such as run, bike, row, elliptical trainers or a dynamic workout. Users can also manually engage in over 39 activities, and set daily goals.  The wearable also features a Blood Pressure monitor, stress tracking. It is compatible with Android and iOS and offers support for third-party apps such as Under Armor, Spotify and Strava. The wearable also supports Bixby Voice, which can be used to send messages

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active Price and availability

The Galaxy Watch Active will come Black, Silver, Rose Gold and Deep Green. It is priced at Rs 19,990 and will be available in retail stores and Samsung Opera House starting June 25. The Galaxy Watch Active will also be available on Amazon.in and the Samsung e-Shop.

Samsung Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit e

The Samsung Galaxy Fit features a 0.95-inch colour AMOLED display and comes with a heart rate monitor, accelerometer and a gyroscope. The Galaxy Fit e sports a slightly smaller 0.74-inch monochrome PMOLED display and gets the same sensors as the Galaxy fit, except for a gyroscope. 

Like the Galaxy Watch Active, the two devices are also capable of automatically tracking activities like walking, running, biking, rowing, the elliptical trainer or when a user starts a general dynamic workout. One also gets access to over 90 activities that can be accessed from the Samsung Health app. Both devices are capable of continuous heart rate monitoring 

Samsung Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit e prices and availability

The Samsung Galaxy Fit is priced at Rs 9,990 and will be available across all retail stores and Samsung Opera House starting June 25. It will be available on Flipkart and Myntra, as well as Samsung e-Shop.

The Galaxy Fit e is priced at Rs 2,590 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart, Myntra and Samsung e-Shop till July 19. Post that the wearable will become available in select offline stores as well. Customers can pre-book the Galaxy Fit e on Flipkart starting July 1, and it will be available for sale starting July 5 on Flipkart, Myntra and Samsung e-Shop.
