Samsung has just hosted its Galaxy Unpacked event, where it unveiled its next-generation foldables. As expected, the tech giant launched three foldables this year instead of two. The lineup includes the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8. Alongside the new smartphones, Samsung also introduced new smartwatches, including the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Galaxy Watch 9. As per Samsung, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is its “most powerful and advanced Galaxy Watch ever.” Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch 9 is described as “the ultimate everyday health companion, designed for wellness-conscious users.” Below is everything you need to know about the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, including their specifications and pricing.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 comes in two sizes: 44mm (1.47-inch display) and 40mm (1.34-inch display). Both are AMOLED displays with up to 3,000 nits of brightness. Also, they come with Full Color Always On Display feature. The 44mm Galaxy Watch 9 packs a 445mAh battery and the 40mm variant equips a 390mAh battery. The Galaxy Watch 9 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W6100 chip, paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Furthermore, it runs on Wear OS 7.
The 40mm Galaxy Watch 9 comes in Cream and Graphite colour options, while the 44m Galaxy Watch 9 is available in Graphite and Silver colour options.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 comes with a 1.52-inch AMOLED display with up to 5,000 nits of brightness. It comes with Full Color Always On Display feature. Powering the watch is the Qualcomm Snapdragon W6100 chip, paired with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Furthermore, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 runs on Wear OS 7.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is available in Titanium Silver and Titanium Gray options.
Samsung has not yet revealed India pricing of the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
