After two years of waiting, Apple is expected to unveil the Apple Watch Ultra 3 this September alongside other devices. The famous tech analyst Jeff Pu of Haitong International Tech Research has shared details in a new investor report outlining Apple’s product roadmap through 2027. According to Pu, the rugged Apple Watch Ultra 3 is expected to launch alongside the Apple Watch Series 11 and the iPhone 17 lineup during Apple’s annual fall event.
If this is true, this would mark the first real upgrade to the Ultra line in nearly two years. In 2024, Apple just added a black titanium colour to the existing Ultra 2. For the unversed, Apple launched the Watch Ultra 2 in 2023.
While the weight might seem substantial, it could mean big things for the next version. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has reported that Apple may be working on advanced features like satellite connectivity and 5G for the Ultra 3, potentially making it more capable in remote and emergencies.
But the Ultra isn’t the only new product on Apple’s horizon. Pu also tipped a new HomePod smart speaker—possibly called the HomePod 6—to be announced at the same event. Additionally, a “HomePad” tablet with smart home controls and iPad-like features is also reportedly in the pipeline. However, details on that device are still unclear.
One product that may not cut this year is the AirPods Pro 3. Pu said that Apple may delay their release until 2026. If these predictions are accurate, Apple’s September event could be its biggest in years.

The Watch Ultra 3 is tipped to sport an LTPO3 OLED Retina screen with always-on functionality. The device packs S9 SiP, a 64-bit dual-core processor with a four-core Neural Engine.
