Hisense E8S mini-LED: Specifications

Starting with the specifications, the E8S series comes with Hisense’s ULED Mini-LED panel technology. The TVs come with support for full-array local dimming. It splits the backlight into multiple independently controlled zones for deeper blacks and tighter contrast. The TV also features Pantone-validated colour accuracy, and it comes with Hi-QLED colour technology.

Given the demand for gaming TVs in the market, Hisense has also made a special note, as the TVs get a native 144Hz refresh rate. The picture processing runs on Hisense’s proprietary Hi-View AI Engine, which optimises contrast, colour, and sharpness in real time. Meanwhile, the top-end, 85-inch model gets an upgrade with an even more powerful Hi-View AI Engine Pro for additional clarity.

In terms of audio, the lineup includes a built-in subwoofer tuned by Devialet. The software runs on VIDAA Smart OS, and the TVs support a full HDR suite covering HDR10+ Adaptive, Dolby Vision IQ, and Filmmaker Mode. Other features include an AI RGB light sensor that adjusts picture settings based on ambient lighting and hands-free voice control.
