Xiaomi Redmi 4A, the newest budget smartphone from Xiaomi, will be available in its second flash sale today from 12:00 pm. The handset priced at Rs 5,999 will be available for purchase from both Amazon India and Mi.com. Xiaomi also claims that it sold 2.5 lakh units of Redmi 4A in 4 minutes during the first sale that was held last week.

Xiaomi announced Redmi 4A in India on January 20 as a direct replacement to Redmi 1S, its first entry-level smartphone. The Redmi 4A looks quite similar other smartphones in the Redmi series with a polished polycarbonate back that resembles metal. The smartphone is also quite compact thanks to its 5-inch 720p display.

The Redmi 4A is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 platform coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage. On the camera front, there is a 13MP sensor at the back, while at the front is a 5MP unit. Xiaomi Redmi 4A runs MIUI 8.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and features a 3120mAh battery.
