Vivo S6 5G phone with quad camera launched: Price, specifications and everything you need to know

The Vivo S6 5G smartphone is official, but not in India. The smartphone has launched in China, starting at CNY 2698 (Rs 29,000 approx directly converted) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 256GB storage variant also sports 8GB RAM and is priced at CNY 2,998 (Rs.32,200 approx directly converted). The device will go on sale in China on April 3. It will be available in Swan Lake, Danube, and Jazz Black colour options.

Speaking of the specifications of the smartphone, the Vivo S6 5G is a dual-SIM phone running on Android 10 out of the box overlaid with FunTouch OS 10. It has a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080p sporting a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone has the octa-core Exynos 980 SoC. it comes with 8GB RAM with two storage options – 128GB and 256GB. 

For the camera, the Vivo S6 has a quad-camera setup. The primary is a 48MP camera with an f/1.79 aperture, the second is an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, the third is a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, and finally, we have a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the smartphone has a 32MP shooter with an f/2.08 aperture. A 4,500mAh battery powers the entire package and it also supports 18W fast charging. The smartphone also houses an in-display fingerprint scanner along with support for face unlock. There is no information on when the device will come to India.
