Samsung has recently concluded its Galaxy Unpacked Event 2026, where it unveiled its latest Z Fold 8 series and Z Flip 8 device. However, the dust has not yet settled, but the leaks and rumours about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra models are already flooding the internet. While the company has been tight-lipped about the new devices, a recent leak has claimed that the S27 Pro will launch with a 5,200mAh battery while the S27 Ultra may land with a 5,700mAh battery. Rumours also suggest that the smartphones will come packed with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset. Here’s everything we have on the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra and S27 Pro models.
According to a recent leak by Dutch outlet GalaxyClub, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro may come packed with a 5,200mAh battery, while the S27 Ultra might come equipped with a 5,700mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra model is anticipated to feature a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Not only that, but rumours also suggest that it may sport Corning Gorilla Glass Armour 2 protection. While the Galaxy S27 Pro might house a slightly smaller display of 6.4 inches with an adaptive 144Hz refresh rate.
Both the devices are anticipated to house the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset under the hood. Moreover, they are also said to feature up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
In terms of optics, the S27 Ultra could land with a 200 MP main camera along with a 50 MP ultrawide lens and dual telephoto configuration (including a 50 MP 5x periscope zoom). Whereas the S27 Pro might boast a triple rear camera setup at the back, including a 200 MP main sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, and a telephoto lens.
Samsung hasn’t made any official announcement yet, but rumours say the new Galaxy S27 Ultra and Galaxy S27 Pro will launch sometime in early 2027.
According to early leaks, the S27 Pro could be priced around Rs 1,29,990, and the S27 Ultra might cost about Rs 1,49,990. Keep in mind these are just early guesses, and the actual prices could be different when the phones are officially launched.
