Samsung recently confirmed that it will launch its next flagship smartphone lineup, the Galaxy S26 series, later this month. The new lineup is expected to include three models: the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The company is also said to introduce the Galaxy Buds 4 series at the same launch event. Now, ahead of the launch, the tech giant has announced pre-reservation benefits for its upcoming Galaxy S series smartphones. Samsung has already opened pre-reservations for customers who want to secure the device early. Customers who pre-reserve the Galaxy S26 series will get a free storage upgrade from 256GB to 512GB. To pre-reserve, buyers can pay a refundable token amount of Rs 999 until February 25. The pre-reservation can be made via Samsung.com, Samsung Exclusive Stores, Amazon.in, Flipkart.com, and leading retail outlets across India. Along with the complimentary storage upgrade, customers who pre-reserve will also receive benefits worth Rs 2,699 when they purchase the new Galaxy S series device.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series will be launched on February 25 at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event in San Francisco. The event will be livestreamed at 11:30 PM IST on the company’s official YouTube channel and Samsung.com.

Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, Galaxy S26 Ultra specifications and features (Expected)

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumoured to feature a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm  Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 globally, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and storage options going up to 1TB. The device may include a 5,000mAh battery with support for 60W fast charging.

On the camera front, the Ultra model is expected to feature a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope lens with 5x optical zoom, a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 10MP telephoto lens (3x optical zoom).

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus is expected to come with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It may be powered by the Exynos 2600 chipset in India, paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The phone is likely to pack a 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired charging support.

For photography, the device is said to house a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide lens, and 10MP telephoto lens(3x optical zoom).

Meanwhile, the standard Galaxy S26 could feature a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of performance, the handset is expected to equip the same Exynos chip with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. Also, it may be backed by a 4,300 mAh battery with 25W charging support. Like its elder sibling, the Galaxy S26 is expected to house a triple-rear camera setup, including a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide lens and 10MP telephoto lens.

Leaks suggest the Galaxy S26 could start between Rs 79,999 and Rs 82,999, while the Galaxy S26 Plus may be priced around Rs 99,999. The top-end Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to begin at Rs 1,29,999, with higher configurations possibly reaching close to Rs 1.7 lakh depending on storage and RAM options.
