Samsung recently confirmed that it will unveil its next-generation flagship lineup, the Galaxy S26 series, later this month. The upcoming lineup is expected to feature three models- Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra- all of which are likely to bring notable upgrades in camera capabilities and overall performance. Alongside the smartphones, the company is also expected to launch the Galaxy Buds 4 series during the same Unpacked event. Here’s a look at what to expect from the launch and the features the phones may offer.
The Galaxy S26 series will be unveiled on February 25 at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event, which will take place in San Francisco. The launch event will begin at 11:30 PM IST for viewers in India. The devices will be available through Samsung’s official stores and online platforms, as well as partner retailers like Amazon and Flipkart.
Samsung has already opened pre-reservations for the Galaxy S26 lineup on its website. Customers can reserve a device by paying a token amount of Rs 999. Those who pre-book will receive a Rs 2,699 worth voucher, the highest exchange value lock-in, special colour options, exclusive rewards and much more.
The top-end model of the series, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, is expected to feature a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 globally, paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. It is said to pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 60W charging support.
For photography, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will likely house a 200MP main, a 50MP periscope (5x optical zoom), a 50MP ultra-wide and a 10MP telephoto (3x optical zoom).

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus is said to come with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. In India, the phone is expected to be backed by the Exynos 2600 chip, coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage. Furthermore, the phone could pack a 4,900 mAh battery with 45W wired charging support.
The device is rumoured to feature a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide lens, and 10MP telephoto lens(3x optical zoom).
The standard Galaxy S26 model may sport a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of performance, the device could feature the same Exynos chip with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. Furthermore, the device could pack a 4,300 mAh battery with 25W charging support.
Like its elder sibling, the Samsung Galaxy S26 is expected to house a triple-rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide lens and 10MP telephoto lens.
As per leaks, the Galaxy S26 is expected to start between Rs 79,999 and Rs 82,999 in India. The Galaxy S26 Plus could launch at around Rs 99,999. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to begin at Rs 1,29,999, with higher-end variants possibly going up to Rs 1.7 lakh depending on RAM and storage configuration.
