Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro with 6GB RAM launched in India at Rs 36,900

Samsung has launched the Galaxy C9 Pro in India, the first smartphone with 6GB RAM from Samsung in India. Samsung's Galaxy C series has been China exclusive in the past, and the Galaxy C9 Pro is the first of this series to be introduced in India.

The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is a big smartphone in terms of dimensions, and features a metal unibody design. It features a 6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC. The device comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB native storage that is expandable.

The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro sports a 16MP front camera, and a 16MP rear camera as well with f/1.9 aperture lens. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, with software features like S Secure, S Power Planning and Ultra Data Saving mode. The smartphone houses a 4000mAh battery, and supports USB-C port for charging. The dual-SIM device comes with a fingerprint sensor, NFC and WiFi Direct support.

Samsung has priced the Galaxy C9 Pro at Rs 36,900, and it will be available in Gold and Black colour options. The smartphone is available for pre-booking from select retail stores and online channels, with one-time screen replacement warranty for a period of 12 months.
