Realme, the brand most known for its budget and mid-range devices, is preparing to expand its T-series lineup in India. The brand is all set to launch its latest device, the Realme 16T 5G, next week. The device will be the successor to last year’s Realme 15T, which received quite good reviews from fans. Unlike most smartphones that prioritise camera specs or performance, Realme has taken a slightly different approach here, focusing more on the battery. Without wasting much time, here is everything you need to know about the launch date, specs, and expected pricing in the Indian market.

Let’s start with the specs first. The device is expected to come with a 6.8” flat OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Along with that, it will come with IP68 and IP69 certifications. Internally, it is expected that the device will be powered by the MediaTek 6360 SoC, along with LPDDR4X memory and UFS 2.2 storage. The phone is expected to carry a slim profile as well, coming in at just 8.88mm thin.
In terms of optics, the phone is expected to come with a 50MP main camera along with a 2MP camera. It might also feature the mirror selfie at the back panel, like the regular Realme 16. The main highlight, however, is the big 8000mAh battery. But there is a slight downgrade in terms of charging when compared to its predecessor, as the device will only come with 45W fast charging.
Realme has officially confirmed that the upcoming 16T 5G will launch in India on May 22, 2026. The phone is expected to be available via Flipkart, the official Realme website, and select offline stores. While multiple storage variants are expected, reports suggest that the 6GB+128GB configuration will be kept as the base model.
Realme has not yet announced the official pricing of the device. However, leaks suggest that the Realme 16T could be priced at under Rs 25,000 in the Indian market. Do note that this is just the expected price, so it is best to wait for the official pricing announcement before comparing it with other devices.
