OnePlus is reportedly preparing for its next big release in India— the OnePlus Nord 5. OnePlus hasn’t officially confirmed anything yet, several leaks and reports have started revealing key details about the device, including its specifications and price. The OnePlus Nord 5 will be the successor to the Nord 4, which debuted in July last year.

Leaks suggest that the OnePlus Nord 5 will feature a flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is also said to offer a 1.5K resolution. Under the hood, the Nord 5 phone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e processor, a slightly toned-down version of the Dimensity 9400 chip.
For photography, the OnePlus Nord 5 is rumoured to pack a dual camera setup on the back. This could include a 50MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, there could be a 16MP front-facing camera.

Battery life is expected to be a major highlight. The phone will likely pack a 7000mAh battery, supported by 100W fast charging. Other expected features include dual speakers, an IR blaster, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. As for the build, leaks hint at a plastic frame with a glass back.
Word has it that the OnePlus Nord 5 could be priced at around Rs 30,000 in India. The launch might take place sometime between June and July.
