OnePlus recently introduced its next-generation flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15, in India. Now, the company is preparing to launch another device under the same lineup: the OnePlus 15R. The phone is expected to bring noticeable improvements in design, performance, display quality, battery life, and camera features. With the official microsite already live, OnePlus has confirmed a few key details ahead of the launch. Here is everything we know so far about the OnePlus 15R, including its launch date, expected price, and specifications.
The OnePlus 15R is set to launch in India on December 17. The smartphone will be unveiled introduced the OnePlus Pad Go 2. After the launch, the phone will be available for purchase through Amazon, the official OnePlus online store, and other retail partners.

OnePlus has confirmed that the 15R will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. The phone is expected to come with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Furthermore, the OnePlus 15R could feature an 8,300mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Speaking of the display, there could be a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED screen with 1.5K resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,600 nits peak brightness.
For photography, the OnePlus 15R is expected to feature a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary camera with OIS, along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, the phone could feature a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.

According to tipster Paras Guglani on X, the 12GB + 256 GB variant of the OnePlus 15R is likely to be priced between Rs 45,000 and Rs 49,000 in India. On the other hand, the 12GB + 512GB variant could cost more than Rs 52,000. For context, the OnePlus 13R was launched at a starting price of Rs 42,999.
