iQOO 15 to launch with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and 7000mah battery
The iQOO 15 is confirmed to launch in India with the timeline tipped for next month. Ahead of its official debut, the company executive has confirmed that the upcoming flagship will support wireless charging, a significant upgrade from last year’s iQOO 13. The brand has also shared camera samples highlighting the phone’s telephoto prowess. Additionally, the device is also rumoured to pack 6,000 nits peak brightness and an anti-reflective coating similar to the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Alongside hardware upgrades, the phone is expected to deliver better durability and improved thermal management. Here’s everything we know so far about the iQOO 15.
The iQOO 15 will debut with wireless charging support, alongside IP68/IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It will also feature a next-gen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for quicker authentication and a USB 3.2-enabled USB-C port for faster transfers.
Under the hood, the handset is confirmed to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with a 6.85-inch QHD AMOLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate and up to 2,600 nits brightness. Camera leaks point to a 50MP primary sensor with a 1/1.5-inch sensor size, plus a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. The phone could also ship with a massive 7,000mAh battery and introduce an 8K vapour chamber cooling system for enhanced thermal performance.

Based on iQOO’s launch cycles, the iQOO 15 is expected to debut in China in October, followed by an India launch in November 2025. However, the official details are still under wraps.

As for pricing, the iQOO 15 is expected to launch in India at under Rs 59,999. To recall, the iQOO 13 was introduced at Rs 54,999 for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
