After the race for big screens on smartphones, it seems that the race for the biggest battery in business is about to begin. Earlier this year, we saw the launch of the Gionee M2 and now Intex is jumping into the arena with its Aqua Power smartphone which has a 4000mAh battery.
The 5-inch smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek processor and is accompanied by 1GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the phone houses 8GB internal storage which can expanded via a 32GB microSD card. It has an 8MP autofocus camera at the rear and a 2MP camera at the front.
The Intex Aqua power runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.2 and has dual-SIM capabilities. The phone is very competitively priced and will be going against the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi Note which is priced at Rs. 8,999.
