Samsung has finally shared the first glimpse of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 ahead of launch. The teaser shows a brief look at its redesigned, wider profile of the upcoming foldable. While earlier teasers only hinted at the foldable’s updated design using everyday objects, the latest teaser gives viewers a glimpse of the smartphone itself. Interestingly, Samsung chose Spider-Man to tease the device. The teaser reveals Samsung’s partnership with Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie. In a post shared on X, the Marvel superhero is shown catching the Galaxy Z Fold 8 with his web. Samsung has confirmed to host its next Unpacked event on July 22, where it will unveil its next generation of foldables. The lineup is expected to include three models: Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 8. The tech giant has already opened up pre-reservations of the new devices. You can pre-reserve the devices for just Rs 999 and receive benefits worth Rs 2,799 upon purchase.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to feature a 7.6-inch main display and a 5.5-inch cover display. The device is said to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, and equip a 4,800 mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support.
For photography, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is likely to house a dual-rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide lens. For selfies, you can expect a 10MP front-facing camera on both screens.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to launch in India with a starting price of Rs 1,74,999 for the base 256GB storage and 12GB RAM variant. Do note that the specifications and pricing of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 are based on leaks and rumours. So, it is advised to take them with a pinch of salt.
