After the launch of Z10, BlackBerry India is set to release its second BB10 smartphone, Q10, in the country.

BlackBerry will be soon launching its BlackBerry 10-based BlackBerry Q10 smartphone in the Indian market. The company confirmed the development via a Twitter post that states “BlackBerry Q10 is coming to India soon. Stay tuned on our page for all the latest updates!”

Moreover, the BlackBerry Q10 has been listed on BlackBerry’s India website, though without pricing details. It’s notable online retailer Snapdeal has already begun taking pre-orders for the smartphone for an advancement payment of Rs. 1,000. The online retailer says the release of the smartphone is expected in the third week of June. The smartphone is expected to be priced between Rs. 28,000-Rs. 30,000.

The Q10 was showcased along with the Z10 earlier this year. While the Z10 is a full touch BB10 smartphone, the Q10 sports the traditional BlackBerry design with physical QWERTY keypad.

The BlackBerry Q10 comes with 3.1-inch touchscreen display with 720×720 pixels (330ppi). It has a 1GHz dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, 1080p HD video recording, 16GB of built-in storage, microSD slot for additional storage, and 1800mAh battery.
