Apple hosted its ‘Surprise and shine’ event last week, the company’s first major launch event under its new CEO, John Ternus. At the event, Apple unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, along with its first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo. Priced at Rs 1,64,900 in India, the iPhone 18 Pro goes head-to-head with other premium flagship phones in the market, including the Samsung Galaxy S6 Ultra and the Oppo Find X9 Ultra. So, how does Apple’s latest Pro model compare with Samsung’s and Oppo’s high-end flagship on paper? Here is a quick comparison.
The Apple iPhone 18 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch OLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz and 3,000 nits of peak brightness. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. The Oppo Find X9 Ultra features a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,600 nits.
Under the hood, the iPhone 18 Pro is powered by the A20 Pro chip, coupled with 12GB of RAM and up to 2TB of storage. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The Find X9 Ultra equips the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and comes in a single 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant.

The Apple iPhone 18 Pro houses a triple camera setup on the back, which includes a 48MP Fusion main camera, a 48MP Fusion ultrawide lens and a 48MP Fusion telephoto lens. For comparison, the Galaxy S26 Ultra houses a quad-camera setup, including a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 10MP telephoto camera.
Meanwhile, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra has a 200MP primary sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, a separate 50MP 10x optical zoom periscope camera and a 50MP ultra-wide lens.
