According to reports, Starlink is expected to officially launch in India by the first quarter of 2026.

Although Starlink has not made an official announcement yet, leaks and early reports suggest that the one-time setup cost for the service will be around Rs 30,000. The monthly subscription plans are rumoured to start at around Rs 3,000.

Starlink’s network in India is expected to deliver speeds ranging from 25 Mbps to 225 Mbps. While these speeds might seem average compared to urban broadband, they could be a huge improvement for remote regions. The government has limited Starlink to 20 lakh connections initially, ensuring a controlled rollout.
