Samsung has launched a new range of top-mount freezer (TMF) refrigerators in India. These target small to mid-sized households looking for connected, energy-efficient cooling under the 300-litre segment. The new lineup comes with SmartThings integration, AI-led energy management, and a flat-door design. So, compared to standard inverter refrigerators, these also bring app control and software-driven features. Here are the complete details:

Price and availability

The Bespoke AI TMF refrigerator range starts at Rs 26,090. It is available via major offline retail stores and online platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Samsung’s official website.

The company is also offering a limited-period Samsung Care+ plan. If you opt for a one-year extended plan, you will receive an additional two-year warranty, taking total coverage to four years. This offer is valid from April 8 to May 31, 2026.

Specifications and features

You can pick it in 236L and 256L options. This should be fine for nuclear families in the country. Some of these models feature convertible 2-in-1 storage so you can convert the freezer section into the fridge.

Design-wise, these sport a flat-door Bespoke design for a cleaner, modern kitchen look.

For cooling, you get All Around Cooling for uniform airflow, Power Cool and Power Freeze for rapid cooling, Dedicated Fresh Room for dairy and perishables, and Cool Pack within the freezer, which claims to retain cooling for up to 12 hours during outages.

These are largely expected features in this segment, but the addition of backup cooling support is particularly relevant for areas with occasional power cuts.

Samsung has equipped some of these new fridges with Wi-Fi, and such models also support the SmartThings app. These also offer the recently announced SmartThings Home Care for diagnostics and alerts.

You can control temperature and other settings with a remote. And as they bear several software features, the company also assures Smart Forward for software updates.

This series brings refrigerators closer to the broader smart home ecosystem. Users can monitor performance and receive alerts without being physically present, which is becoming standard in mid-range appliances.

Finally, these ACs also come with AI Energy Mode for optimising power use, up to 10% claimed energy savings, energy tracking on a daily, weekly and monthly basis via SmartThings Energy. In case you are wondering, these comply with the latest BEE norms.

Now, if you are out in the market for a refrigerator, this range could particularly make sense if you value connectivity and remote control in a compact refrigerator.
