Meta ray ban
After a series of leaks and much anticipation, the Ray Ban Meta smart glasses have finally made their India debut. This comes days after the company announced its product expansion plan globally. For the unversed, Ray Ban Meta smart glasses combine classic eyewear design with advanced smart technology.
Ray Ban Meta smart glasses are powered by Meta AI, which allows users to interact using the voice command ‘Hey Meta’. The hands-free assistant can respond to users’ queries by providing real-time information, managing calls, streaming music, and even cooking tips. The most prominent feature is real-time language translation, which supports English, French, Italian, and Spanish.
Users can communicate in these languages even when they are offline, as long as they have downloaded the language packs ahead of time. Translations are delivered to the user via the glasses, while the other person can view the transcript on a connected phone.
When paired with the Meta AI app, the smart glasses provide additional features such as conversation history and photo editing. The glasses allow users to capture and edit images directly within the app.

Meta will release additional updates that will enable hands-free messaging and calls on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger, as well as music streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Shazam.
Meta Ray Ban smart glasses are priced at Rs 29,900 in the Indian market. The customers can pre-order their glasses on Ray-Ban.com, with in-store availability beginning May 19. The customers can choose the classic Wayfarer design in standard and large sizes, along with the Skyler model, which offers a more inclusive fit.
Speaking of the lens option, the customers can opt for sun, clear, polarized, transitions, or prescription lenses, depending on their requirements.
