OpenAI’s ChatGPT can now edit your images using Adobe Photoshop, here’s how

Adobe has brought three of its most popular apps, Photoshop, Adobe Express, and Acrobat, directly into ChatGPT. This means you can now ask ChatGPT to edit photos, create designs, or work with PDFs simply by describing what you want. The goal is to make creative and productivity tools easy for everyone, even if you’ve never used Adobe software before. “By combining the power of Adobe’s creative technology with ChatGPT’s conversational interface, Adobe apps for ChatGPT make creativity accessible for everyone,” Adobe said in a blogpost.

• Adobe Photoshop: In ChatGPT, you can adjust specific parts of a photo, change brightness or contrast, tweak exposure, or apply effects such as Glow or Glitch.
• Adobe Express: Adobe Express lets you create social posts, invitations and more using thousands of professional templates. You can swap images, update text, add animations, and quickly refine a design.
• Adobe Acrobat: Need to edit a PDF? You can now do that directly in ChatGPT. Acrobat for ChatGPT lets you extract text, organise files, combine documents, convert files to PDF, and more.

How to use Adobe Photoshop in ChatGPT

• Upload the photo you want to edit.
• Start your prompt by mentioning Photoshop, for example: “Adobe Photoshop, make the people pop in this photo.”
• Continue asking for more edits, such as adding a retro effect, changing the background style, or applying a grainy finish.
• After each step, adjust the sliders to customise the look.

Availability

Photoshop, Adobe Express, and Acrobat for ChatGPT are free and available now on ChatGPT for desktop, web, and iOS. Adobe Express is also available on Android, with Photoshop and Acrobat support coming soon.
