Updated on 28-Mar-2012

NetGear has launched its Universal WiFi Range Extender (WN3000RP) in India, priced at Rs. 4,700 (MRP). The device is designed to effectively double the operating distance of your entire wireless network, without the need for power cables or chance of device clutter.

The NetGear Universal WiFi Range Extender (WN3000RP) is plugged directly into an electrical outlet. It’s compatible with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n routers, gateways and most Internet service provider devices.

The WN3000RP range extender will also help allow the user to improve their Wi-Fi coverage, eliminating wireless dead zones with link-rate LED while maintaining current equipment.

It supports plug-and-play, as well as “Push ‘N’ Connect” Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS). The NetGear Universal WiFi Range Extender (WN3000RP) also bears an Ethernet port, so that it can act as a bridge for home theatre devices.

The WN3000RP has also been designed to keep a low carbon footprint, with a power on/off button for convenient deactivation, and 80% recycled NetGear packaging. For more information, check out NetGear’s WN3000RP product page.
