JioHotstar has announced a major revision in its subscription pricing, with higher rates coming into effect from January 28, 2026. The changes mainly impact Super and Premium users, while the Mobile will see no increase in quarterly or annual prices. Alongside the price hike, the streaming platform has also introduced monthly plans across all tiers to give users more flexibility. According to the company, the new pricing reflects changing viewing habits in India. More users are now watching content on connected TVs and across multiple devices at home, rather than only on mobile phones.

For the first time, JioHotstar has introduced monthly plans across all categories. Mobile users can now start at Rs 79 per month, making it easier for first-time or short-term users to access content. The Super monthly plan is priced at Rs 149, while the Premium monthly plan costs Rs 299.
