The Ministry of Culture has launched the fourth edition of its Har Ghar Tiranga campaign to celebrate India’s 79th Independence Day on August 15, 2025. The nationwide initiative encourages citizens to hoist the tricolour at their homes, workplaces, or institutions and share their participation online. As a part of the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, the campaign runs from August 2 to August 15. Participants can receive a digital certificate and, if they choose, an e-card to recognise their participation.
Here’s everything to know about the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and how to take part in it.
The Ministry says the Har Ghar Tiranga certificate is an official digital memento of your contribution to the campaign. The document can be stored, printed, or shared on social media to inspire others to join. The final date for uploading photos and downloading the certificate is August 15.

In addition to the certificate, participants can also generate a personalised Har Ghar Tiranga e-card, a digital badge honouring their involvement. After uploading the selfie and completing registration, the website also offers the option to create this e-card, which can then be downloaded or shared on social media and messaging platforms.
