Google has announced that its AI-powered no-code mini-app builder, Opal, is now expanding to India, along with 14 other countries including Canada, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Brazil, Singapore, Colombia, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Honduras, Argentina and Pakistan. Launched as an early experiment in the US a couple of months ago, Opal allows users to create AI-powered mini using just natural language, no coding skills required.
Initially, Google expected users to build simple and fun apps, but the response was far beyond expectations. Early users created sophisticated, practical, and highly creative apps, showing the huge potential of Opal. Encouraged by this success, Google decided to make Opal available to more people around the world.
To make Opal even better, Google has added several improvements based on user feedback:
Advanced debugging tools: Users can now run the workflow step-by-step in the visual editor or focus on a specific step in the console panel. Errors appear in real time and are pinpointed to the exact step where they occur, giving you immediate context and removing any guesswork. This way, you can spend less time debugging and more time building.
Faster performance: Google has improved Opal’s underlying system, making it quicker to create new apps. Complex workflows can now run multiple steps at the same time, reducing waiting times significantly.
