Google is making it easier to get everyday tasks done without typing. The company has started rolling out Gemini Audio models across Google Workspace products. The update brings voice-based conversations to Gmail, Google Docs and Google Keep. So, users can now speak naturally to search their emails, work on documents and organise their thoughts. Google first previewed these Gemini Audio capabilities at its I/O event earlier this year. Keep reading for all the details
Gmail Live lets users search their inbox through a conversation. Instead of typing keywords or going through long email threads, you can simply ask a question.
For example, you can ask, “What’s my flight’s gate number?” or ask about updates related to your child’s school. Gmail Live will look through your emails and provide an answer. The feature can be particularly useful when you are busy and need to quickly find information in your inbox.
Do more with just your voice across Gmail, Docs, and Keep.

Docs Live turns Google Docs into a voice-based writing partner. Users can talk through an idea instead of starting with a blank document.
You can explain your thoughts or brainstorm ideas, and Docs Live can then organise those thoughts and turn them into a structured document. With permission, it can also use relevant information from Gmail, Google Drive, Google Chat and the web.

Google Keep is also getting a new voice feature. Keep Live lets users speak their thoughts and turn them into organised notes.
You can simply do a quick “brain dump” without worrying about formatting or typing. The feature can process what you say and turn it into structured lists and actionable notes.
