Fujifilm has been widely considered a niche player in the mirrorless camera space. The brand has almost formed a cult-like following among fans, and that’s thanks to its advancements in photography and the film simulation features offered by its cameras. Though in the past few months, it has started to gain a lot of popularity in markets, especially in India. And to cater to the Indian audience, Fujifilm has been expanding its lineup with new releases frequently. Most recently, the company has unveiled the Fujifilm X-T30 III, the latest offering in the compact and hybrid segment. Without wasting much time, let’s take a deep dive into the camera features, along with the pricing details.

First and foremost, the X-T30 III comes powered by Fuji’s back-illuminated 26.1-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor. It features the X-Processor 5, and the company claims that the camera processes images twice as fast as its predecessor. It comes powered by AI technology, due to which the autofocus system gets big improvements. It supports tracking of animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, aeroplanes, and even drones and insects.
The company has put a lot of focus on making the X-T30 III as compact as possible since it weighs in at just 378g, and it features a refined, ergonomic grip for comfort. Speaking of the front, it comes with a 1.62-million-dot tilting rear LCD monitor; along with that, it gets Fuji’s classic center viewfinder design.
The camera also has a dedicated film simulation dial on the top plate, which would allow you to switch between the different colour profiles it offers. Just like every other Fujifilm camera, users can carry over their own colour recipes, and the dial can also be customised, as it comes with three different customisation slots.
While traditionally Fuji is known for its photographic capabilities, with the X-T30 III, the company has made significant improvements to the video aspects. Since it comes with support for 6.2K open-gate internal recording at 30 FPS. Not only that, but it also supports full 4:2:2 10-bit colour. Open Gate gives more flexibility to the users, allowing you to crop for both cinematic widescreen and vertical social media formats.
Further video features include support for 4K videos at 60FPS, and it also brings support for slow-motion videos at 1080p with 240FPS. It also includes advanced stabilisation options to ensure handheld shots remain smooth and professional.
Speaking of price, Fujifilm has announced that the X-T30 III will be available at a starting price of Rs 1,02,999. It’s worth mentioning that the price is for the body-only variant, meaning you’d have to buy a lens separately. The company is also offering the camera with the 13-33mm kit lens, which comes with a variable F3.5-6.3 aperture. The variant of the camera with the kit lens has been priced at Rs 1,19,999. It comes bundled with a single battery and a memory card.
