Apple hosted its Welcome home event earlier this month, where the tech giant introduced several smart home devices, including HomeView, HomePod mini 2 and Apple TV 4K 2026. Now, the company is gearing up for another event- Pro and tell- which is scheduled for this week. While Apple has not revealed what announcement it would make at the event, leaks hint at long-rumoured touch-screen MacBooks, OLED iPad mini and more. Below is everything you need to know about Apple’s Pro and tell event, including date, time in India and what to expect.
The Pro and tell event is scheduled for October 28 at 10 AM PT (10:30 PM IST). When Apple’s senior VP of Worldwide Marketing Greg Joswiak shared the teaser on X (formerly Twitter), Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman pointed out that it was “obviously…a finger touching a display and drawing” on the surface.

One of the biggest highlights of the event could be Apple’s first touchscreen MacBook Pro models. The touch support is expected to be integrated as an additional input method rather than make the MacBook Pro a touch-first device. The touchscreen may support actions such as scrolling, pinching, panning, zooming and swiping. To make this work, Apple is expected to tweak macOS Golden Gate.
Another key upgrade from the MacBook Pro models could be OLED displays. OLED display would offer better picture quality than the screens currently used in the devices. They may also adopt the Dynamic Island interface, currently available on iPhones, and feature a lighter design than current models.
Apple’s mini tablet is expected to feature an OLED display for the first time. The upcoming iPad mini is said to pack a front camera positioned in landscape orientation, and may run on the A20 Pro chipset. Furthermore, it will likely come with an improved speaker setup.

Apart from these devices, the iPhone-maker is expected to refresh the 24-inch iMac desktop. The company may also unveil a MacBook Pro powered by an M6 processor. However, both devices will reportedly retain the design of their existing models.
Do note that Apple has not announced what products it will unveil at its Pro and tell event. So, it is advised to take these details with a pinch of salt.
