The PlayStation 5 already stands out with its clean white design that instantly grabs attention in any room. But Sony is now asking a very simple question. What if your console could be louder, brighter, and impossible to ignore? With its newly announced Hyperpop Collection, Sony is giving PS5 owners a chance to add a serious splash of colour to their consoles and pair them with equally vibrant DualSense controllers. Launching globally in March 2026, the new range is all about glossy finishes, loud gradients, and colours inspired by RGB-lit setups. Read on to know all about it.

The Hyperpop Collection comes in three distinct colourways, each with its own personality. Techno Red leans into aggressive neon energy, Remix Green goes for a high contrast futuristic look, while Rhythm Blue keeps things bold but slightly more composed. Sony says the collection is inspired by the glow of modern gaming setups, with colours that are meant to stand out even when the console is powered off.
According to Sony’s official blog post, the controllers feature a seamless gradient that wraps around both the front and back of the DualSense wireless controller. A high gloss coating is used to make the colours pop even more under light. The PS5 console covers follow the same design language and add a subtle touch of transparency, giving them a slightly layered look compared to standard faceplates.
Sony also says that availability and exact release dates may vary by region. Customers ordering directly from PlayStation will also get free launch day delivery on eligible pre orders.
As for the price, Sony has confirmed that the Hyperpop DualSense controllers will be priced at $84.99 in the US, €84.99 in Europe, and £74.99 in the UK. The matching PS5 console covers will be sold separately for $74.99, €74.99, and £64.99 respectively, and will be available in limited quantities in select markets. There are no details on India pricing or availability yet.
Pre orders for the above-mentioned regions open on January 16, 2026, starting at 10am local time via direct.playstation.com and participating retailers.
