Rockstar Games recently released the much-awaited second trailer of GTA 6. Dropped suddenly on Rockstar’s YouTube channel, the trailer set the internet buzzing with excitement. Fans finally got a deeper look at the upcoming game’s setting, storyline and characters, giving everyone a better sense of what to expect when GTA 6 officially hits the market.
After more than a decade since GTA V first launched, anticipation for this next chapter has been sky-high. GTA 6 is expected to deliver an unforgettable experience for longtime fans and new players alike.

GTA 6 follows the story of two lead characters — Jason and Lucia. This is how the second trailer’s description describes the plot: “Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive. “
Apart from Jason and Lucia, Rockstar has introduced several other characters in GTA 6. New characters include Boobie Ike, Brian Heder, Cal Hampton, Dre’Quan Priest, Raul Bautista and Real Dimez.

According to Rockstar, GTA 6 “heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”
GTA 6 is set to be released on May 26, 2026, as confirmed by Rockstar.
The standard edition of GTA 6 is expected to be priced at Rs 5,999 in India, while special editions could cost around Rs 7,299. Globally, the price may reach up to $100 (roughly Rs 9,000).
