According to a report in Insider Gaming originally attributed to a ResetERA user, the first look of the game could be here as soon as next week, April 16, to be precise. Now, it is to be noted that we don’t yet have a confirmation from Ubisoft about this. Hence, this information should be taken with a pinch of salt. That said, if the first-look does get unveiled next week, we can expect a flurry of reactions on social media.
As far as the release date of the game is concerned, the Insider Gaming report adds that we might get to experience the game between June or August this year.
Until now, we haven’t had many details about the game as the project is being kept under wraps by the studio. The only official hint that Ubisoft dropped about the game was in March this year, in a blog post.
The company just dropped the concept art for the game in the middle of the aforementioned blog post without mentioning any other details. In the concept art, we could see the game’s protagonist, Edward Kenway, standing in his signature pose, in the yard of a ship. In the bottom right, the game’s official title was written: Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
The concept art got a lot of attention from the game’s fans and made a lot of headlines. Now that the first look at the game is expected to be out soon, it will be interesting to see what it holds. Keep watching this space for more such updates!
