Netflix’s hit teen horror series Wednesday recently wrapped up its season 2 with unexpected twists and plenty of unanswered questions. Well, the good news is that Netflix has confirmed that Wednesday will return with a third season, promising even more dark humour, spooky mysteries, and exciting adventures with Wednesday Addams and her quirky family.

According to OTTplay, fans will need to wait a bit longer for the new season. Wednesday season 3 is expected to premiere in the summer of 2027. While the first season arrived in November 2022, the second season faced delays because of the SAG-AFTRA strike, which affected filming and production schedules. Considering the time needed for shooting and post-production, it’s understandable that season 3 will take around a year and a half to arrive. Like the previous seasons, the third chapter will be available exclusively on Netflix.

The second season ended with a dramatic battle as Wednesday and her family defeated Isaac Night, played by Owen Painter. However, several mysteries remain, and season 3 is expected to explore them.

Another key plotline will follow Enid as she fully embraces her role as an alpha werewolf. Additionally, Tyler’s Hyde clan is expected to have a bigger role in the upcoming season.
