Wednesday Addams is coming back—and she’s bringing more dark humour, spooky mysteries, and gothic vibes with her. Wednesday Season 2 is confirmed to arrive in 2025, although the exact release date hasn’t been announced yet.
The first season of Wednesday was a massive hit when it premiered. It became one of Netflix’s most popular shows, staying in the Global Top 10 for 20 weeks and making it to the Top 10 in 93 countries with 252.10 million views.

Scheduled to premiere in 2025, Wednesday Season 2 will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix. While fans will have to wait a bit longer for a specific release date, the excitement is already building.

According to showrunners and executive producers Al Gough and Miles Millar, the second season will be “darker and more complex.” They also shared that Wednesday will deal with family, friends, new mysteries, and old enemies in the new season.
Netflix released a short sneak peek that shows Wednesday visiting her former enemy Tyler (Hunter Doohan) at the asylum where he’s being held. While other plot details are still under wraps, the creators have promised the season will be “delightfully dark, kooky, and mysterious.”
