Netflix has finally dropped the trailer of the much-awaited fifth and final season of Stranger Things. Since its debut in 2016, the series has become one of Netflix’s most successful and talked-about shows. Netflix has confirmed that Stranger Things season 5 will be released in three parts. Viewers in India can start streaming the episodes at 6:30 AM IST on the following dates:

Stranger Things season 5 plot

Set in the fall of 1987, the story picks up after the devastating events of season 4. According to Netflix’s official description: “Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread.
