Netflix recently teased what’s next for Luffy and his crew.

Netflix’s live-action adaptation of One Piece became a massive hit when it premiered in 2023. Based on Eiichiro Oda’s beloved manga, the show won over audiences with its impressive storytelling, strong performances, and its ability to capture the magic and adventure of the original anime. Viewers praised how the series brought the Straw Hat Pirates’ journey to life in a way that felt both authentic and cinematic.

After the huge success of the first season, Netflix is ready to continue Luffy’s journey. A short teaser of One Piece season 2 has already been released on YouTube, giving fans an early look at the next adventure as Luffy and his crew sail toward the Grand Line.

One Piece season 2 is confirmed to be released in 2026. While an exact date has not been revealed, fans can rest assured that the new episodes will once again premiere exclusively on Netflix.

The new season is expected to take the story to even greater heights, filled with dangerous seas, mysterious islands, and powerful new foes. As per the official synopsis, “Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line — a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn. As they journey  through this unpredictable realm in search of the world’s greatest treasure, they’ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies.”
