But to everyone’s surprise, the show was a hit. Within just two weeks of release, it received over 37.8 million views and got love from both longtime fans and new viewers.

Netflix has confirmed that One Piece season 2 will arrive sometime in 2026. Like the first season, the second season will also be available to stream on Netflix. While we don’t have an exact release date yet, it’s great to know that the next chapter is officially on the way.
One Piece season 2 will continue Straw Hats’ journey to the Grand Line. The next season will take viewers to new locations, including Loguetown, Reverse Mountain (Twin Capes), Whiskey Peak, Little Garden and Drum Island.
Fans can also look forward to meeting Dr Kureha, a character who will play an important role in the new season, as confirmed by co-showrunner Matt Owens.
