After the huge success of Netflix’s live-action One Piece in 2023, fans are eagerly waiting for the return of the Straw Hat Pirates. The first season turned out to be a hit, pulling in over 37.8 million views in just two weeks. It impressed both long-time fans of the anime and manga and people who were watching One Piece for the first time.

Well, Netflix has already confirmed that One Piece season 2 is happening, and there’s already a lot of buzz about what’s coming next. Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming season.

Netflix has announced that the second season of One Piece will arrive in 2026. Like the first season, it will stream exclusively on Netflix.

One Piece season 2 plot

Season 2 will pick up right where the last season ended. Luffy and his pirate crew will keep moving forward on their exciting journey to reach the Grand Line. Viewers can look forward to exploring new places, including Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden and Drum Island. One of the most interesting additions to the story is Dr Kureha, a key character who will play an important role.
