The story continues right after the events of the first season, where Luffy and his expanding crew successfully overcame their early challenges on the open sea. Entering the Grand Line brings unpredictable weather, formidable enemies and kingdoms filled with political tension.
The season adapts two of the manga’s most popular arcs. The first takes the crew to Drum Island, a snow-covered region facing political instability and a serious medical crisis. The second arc leads them to Alabasta, a vast desert kingdom pushed to the brink of collapse by internal conspiracies.

The new season is developed by Matt Owens and Steven Maeda, who return after their work on the first season. Original creator Eiichiro Oda continues to serve as executive producer to ensure the story stays faithful to the spirit of the manga. With the same creative leadership and returning cast, Into the Grand Line is set to expand the live-action adaptation with larger locations, new characters and higher stakes.
