So it’s completely normal to wonder if the story will continue. Well, the good news is that the future of the show has already been confirmed. From official renewal updates to small hints shared by the showrunner, here’s everything we know so far about Bridgerton season 5 and even season 6.
Bridgerton season 5 is officially happening. Netflix has already renewed the show for both season 5 and season 6. The announcement was made in May 2025. As of now, there is also no release date of the next season.

The next big question is: which Bridgerton sibling will be the main focus in season 5? While there is no official confirmation yet, showrunner Jess Brownell gave fans a big hint earlier this year. At the Paris premiere of season 4, part 1, she wore a suit with two pocket squares that had the letters ‘E’ and ‘F’ on them. She told Deadline, ‘Both characters with the initials on my pocket squares will get seasons in five [and] six.’ ‘In what order? I can’t say.’

This strongly suggests that Eloise and Francesca will each lead one of the upcoming seasons. Well, fans will have to wait to see who takes the lead first. One thing is sure that with two more seasons confirmed, there is still plenty of romance and drama ahead in Bridgerton.
