After a long wait of nearly six years, the much-loved Housefull series recently came back with its fifth installment, Housefull 5. Released in theatres on June 6, 2025, the film has been a favourite among fans. Packed with funny moments, a star-studded cast and a gripping storyline, it offers complete entertainment from start to finish. The entire story takes place on a grand cruise ship.
If you’re waiting to watch Housefull 5 at home, here’s all you need to know about its OTT release.
Although there is no official announcement yet, Housefull 5 is expected to release on Amazon Prime Video. Typically, Bollywood movies become available on OTT platforms around 6–8 weeks after their theatrical release. So, if things go as usual, fans can expect to stream Housefull 5 by the end of July or early August 2025.

The movie brings back familiar faces from the Housefull universe. Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh take the lead. They are joined by Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, and Sonam Bajwa.
The cast also includes popular names like Johnny Lever, Soundarya Sharma, Chitrangada Singh and Fardeen Khan. To make things even more fun, there are appearances by Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Nana Patekar, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, and Shreyas Talpade.

The story follows a rich man who is celebrating his 100th birthday on a luxurious cruise. But the celebration turns into chaos when he suddenly passes away and leaves his entire fortune to his son, Jolly. Things get even more confusing when not one, but three men show up, all claiming to be Jolly: Julius, Jalbhushan and Jalabuddin. A DNA test is arranged to find out the truth, but just before the test can be done, the doctor is found dead. Then enter two funny and strange cops, played by Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff, who try to solve the mystery in their own hilarious style.
