After a long wait of nearly six years, the Housefull series has returned to the big screen. Housefull 5, which released in theatres on June 6, has turned out to be a success. Packed with hilarious moments, a star-studded cast and a storyline full of twists, the film takes the comedy to a whole new level. This time, the chaos unfolds on a fancy cruise ship.

Housefull 5 will reportedly be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. While there’s no official date yet, Bollywood films usually arrive on OTT about two months after their theatrical release. So, you can expect the film to drop on Prime Video by late July or early August 2025.

The film brings back the popular trio: Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh. They are joined by Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Sonam Bajwa in key roles. The movie also stars Soundarya Sharma, Johnny Lever, Fardeen Khan and Chitrangada Singh. To top it off, actors like Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Shreyas Talpade, Chunky Pandey, Ranjeet and Nana Patekar add even more entertainment.

The movie is set on a luxurious cruise ship where a rich old man is celebrating his 100th birthday. Things take a wild turn when he suddenly dies, leaving his entire wealth to his son Jolly. But the twist? Three different men- Julius, Jalbhushan and Jalabuddin – all claim to be Jolly. A DNA test is the only way to find the truth, but the doctor who was supposed to conduct it is found dead. And to make things even worse, the trip lost all memory of the night before. Then two quirky cops, played by Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff, enter and try to solve the mystery.
