After a successful run in theatres last year, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is now all set for a wider release to the Indian audience through digital platforms. The supernatural horror movie is a sequel to its previous movie and is continuing to attract the attention of fans of the popular video game series by Scott Cawthon. With its mix of suspense, mystery, and familiar characters, the film has already made a mark at the global box office. Viewers who missed it in cinemas or want to revisit its eerie world can soon watch it from home, as the film prepares for its official streaming debut.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is scheduled to begin streaming in India on April 5, 2026. The movie will be available on JioHotstar.
The movie will be available in English with subtitles, as well as dubbed versions of the movie in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Set about a year after the events of the first film, the sequel follows Mike and Abby as they try to move past their frightening experiences linked to Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Their peaceful life is disrupted when a town festival called Fazfest is announced, celebrating the legends of the abandoned pizzeria.
As the mystery goes on, new animatronic characters like Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Toy Freddy, and Mangle appear, making the story more exciting and tense. The story also touches on the darker history of the franchise, particularly when major plot points are revealed about Henry Emily and William Afton.

The film is directed by Emma Tammi, who returns after helming the first movie. The cast includes Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, and Matthew Lillard, reprising their roles. They are joined by Piper Rubio, Mckenna Grace, Lisa, and Skeet Ulrich, who plays a significant role in the movie.
