The story is about Deva (played by Rajinikanth), a former coolie who now runs a boarding house in Chennai. His life changes when his close friend Rajashekar is murdered. Deva sets out to find the truth and discovers that the crime is linked to a smuggler, Simon, and his partner Dayal. As he digs deeper, he uncovers a shocking organ trafficking racket.
