Netflix released the first part of Bridgerton Season 4 last week. Like other popular shows, this new season has been split into two parts. The story focuses on Benedict Bridgerton, the family’s second son, who is known for avoiding responsibilities and marriage. As pressure mounts from both his mother and society to settle down, Benedict’s life takes an unexpected turn at a masquerade ball.
At the ball, he meets a mysterious woman dressed in silver. They share a magical evening filled with laughter and a kiss, but she runs away at midnight, leaving behind only a white glove. Benedict is captivated by her, determined to find this mysterious woman again.

The woman in silver is later revealed as Sophie Baek, the daughter of an earl and a maid. After her father’s death, Sophie faces trouble from her stepmother, who forces her into a life of servitude. When her stepmother discovers that Sophie was the woman who charmed Benedict at the ball, she throws her out of the house.
Fate brings Benedict and Sophie together once more in the countryside when he rescues her from a dangerous situation. Spending time together allows Benedict to grow closer to Sophie, not realising that she is the same woman from the masquerade.
